Marco Maggio Profile
It’s time for a feel-good story.
If you want to talk about an overnight sensation, or, if you want, a very opportunistic individual, look no farther than Marco Maggio.
He was a 10th round pick by the Windsor Spitfires in 2005, but found himself looking up at them as the season wore on. During a brief stint with the club last season, he did everything he could do make an impression - which included dropping the gloves with whoever looked at him the wrong way. This season, he was dealt to Sudbury, and is tied with Spitfire enforcer Richard Greenop for the league lead in fighting majors.
Marco talked to OHLTG for a bit, letting us get to know him a bit:

Which players, if any, are you hoping to drop the gloves with? Why? Jake Carrick because he’s the top rookie and I want to be number one.
